A family business dedicated to the maritime sector that has been connecting the easternmost islands of the Canaries since 1930.
HISTORY
It all began when Jorge M. Toledo established Líneas Romero, becoming the first maritime postal company connecting La Graciosa and Lanzarote. In its early days, it had a simple rowing boat that transported mail between these two beautiful Atlantic islands. A vessel dedicated to the postal business, which was inherited by Jorge M. Toledo's daughter, Juana González Toledo, who later married Juan Romero.
It was in 1970 when Juan Romero took charge of the company, expanding its services. Juan led Líneas Romero until 1985, when the business was inherited by his four children: Luis, Juan Jorge, Federico and Rosa Romero, who are currently in charge of the company. The Romero family still resides in La Graciosa and, although their business has continued to grow, their values remain intact. In this way, they love their work and their island above all else; and their passion has led them to a path full of success.
FUTURE
The Romero brothers have grown up in La Graciosa and are in love with their land, its wild landscape and the smell of the sea. Therefore, they are aware of the importance of protecting the island and respect its environment and nature to the utmost. In this way, Líneas Romero meticulously complies with environmental regulations and is a company that promotes sustainable tourism. Today, Líneas Romero has a regular maritime service between the islands of Fuerteventura, Lanzarote and La Graciosa.
Additionally, it offers unique excursions and tourist experiences, such as sailing catamaran trips to discover the islands and enjoy various water activities. It also has a Waterbus service, which is the most comfortable way to travel between Puerto Calero and Puerto del Carmen (Lanzarote). Líneas Romero strongly believes in innovation; reinventing itself and offering new services to meet users' needs. Furthermore, it regularly renews its fleet to have faster, more modern vessels with the latest technology.
